Connecting with our students and meeting them where they are is the primary through line for all educators who are a part of the CDP Faculty. It’s not just about offering sound technical training and creating beautiful choreography — it’s about working the life lessons into the class journey, laughing, listening, falling and flying. It’s about cultivating an environment where vulnerability is welcomed and mistakes are worked through. It’s about teaching our students not only how TO dance — but how to LOVE, RESPECT and CULTIVATE the art form of dance and its culture into our lives outside of the studio and offstage.
